Biography

Sarah Moench is a clinical assistant professor of costume technology for the School of Film, Dance and Theatre in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. she teaches classes that cover introduction to costumes, pattern making, costume construction, costume crafts, wig making and styling, makeup and digital fabrication.

Moench has more than 17 years of pattern making experience in the professional and academic spheres, collaborating to create historical and imagined worlds through the art and craft of pattern design and costume technology.
