Financial Aid

Program requirements

The certificate in socially engaged practice in design and the arts requires 18 credit hours; 12 hours of upper-division course work is required. All courses must be completed with a minimum grade of "C" (2.00) or better. An overall 3.00 GPA is required for this certificate.
Core -- 6 credit hours
Social Engagement -- 3 credit hours
Fieldwork / Internship -- 3 credit hours
Approved Capstone or Internship Experiences (3)
Electives (at least 3 credits must be upper-division) -- 6 credit hours
Depending on a student's undergraduate program of study, prerequisite courses may be needed in order to complete the requirements of this certificate.
