Biography

Adriane is currently a graduate student of Dramatic Writing at Arizona State University. In her plays, she combines her passions for comedic storytelling and politics to examine how we’ve been taught to look at the world. Her ten-minute play, “How to Save the Polar Bear,” was selected for the 2020 Theater Masters TAKE TEN Festival and will be published by Samuel French. The play was also a regional finalist for the 2020 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival’s Gary Garrison Ten-Minute Play Award.

Adriane is also an experienced improvisational actor. She studied long-form improv and musical improv at the Magnet Theater in New York City, as well as at iO Theater and The Second City in Chicago, where she worked with some of the best teachers of the forms.

As a dramaturge, she loves to work with playwrights on developing their new works.
