Biography

Eliciana Nascimento is an award-winning filmmaker and assistant professor in the School of Film, Dance and Theatre. Her short film, "The Summer of Gods", premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 and received several awards from a variety of international film festivals. She directed and edited the short documentary "Nurse Helen Fairchild", currently in distribution to film festivals, and she is also working as a director-cinematographer of her new documentary, "Oshun Women" in the African diaspora.
