Biography

Jesse D. Saywell is a writer, director, and performer with a focus in theatre and musical theatre. He has penned many works, most notably The Mall, and the semi-autobiographical piece, MOM. His directing credits include the world premiere of MOM, a production of Ray and Michael Cooney's Tom, Dick, and Harry, and a musical review of The Green Room; The College Musical. As an actor and singer, he has performed in venues such as Arena Stage, The Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center. Jesse is a proud alumni of American University, with a B.A. in Musical Theatre Peformance.
